SUMMARY:True Resilience: A Conversation on Community\, Empathy and Justice in Health
DESCRIPTION:Five years after launching a national effort to address gender and racial discrimination in healthcare\, the Equity Now team continues to raise awareness\, provide support\, and create tools to make healthcare safe for all. Soraya Chemaly\, author of The Myth of Resilience and Rage Becomes Her\, will discuss what it means to be truly resilient in our current healthcare environment. Together we will discuss the lessons learned\, achievements\, and challenges we face as we work towards a more just and safe healthcare system\, and explore the actions we can take to build our collective strength and resilience. \n
