SUMMARY:Systems Science Journal Club March Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The systems science journal club is a monthly meeting space for CUNY SPH students and faculty to come together and learn more about systems modeling methods and discuss their applications to public health research. \nThis club meets once per month to discuss a selected systems science-related journal article\, book chapter\, news article\, etc. The club will also be hosting other types of events in future meetings\, including guest speakers\, seminars\, and workshop events. \nOur next journal club meeting will be on Thursday\, March 9th from 1-2pm and the paper we will be discussing is “Simulating the multicausality of Alzheimer’s disease with system dynamics” by Jeroen Uleman et al. \nThe meeting will be offered in hybrid format with an in-person meeting option at the CUNY SPH campus room 503 and an option to join virtually on zoom. \nWe hope you can join us! Please RSVP to this event using the provided Eventbrite link\, where you will gain access to the zoom link for the meeting along with a link to the article. \nThis event is open to all CUNY SPH students and faculty. Our goal is to make this an open space for anyone interested in exploring systems science methods\, regardless of prior experience. \n
