SUMMARY:Systems Science Club
DESCRIPTION:The systems science club is a monthly meeting space for CUNY SPH students and faculty to come together and learn more about systems modeling methods and discuss their applications to public health research. \nThis club meets once per month to discuss a selected systems science-related journal article\, book chapter\, news article\, etc. \nOur next meeting will be on Wednesday\, October 7 from 1 – 2 pm on Zoom. \nLink to Meeting \nThe paper we will be discussing is “Collective learning for resilience in Global South cities: a community-based systems mapping approach to integrated climate and health action” \nThe club will also be hosting other types of events in future meetings\, including guest speakers\, seminars\, and workshop events. \nThis event is open to all CUNY SPH students and faculty. Our goal is to make this an open space for anyone interested in exploring systems science methods\, regardless of prior experience. \nWe hope you can join us! \n
