SUMMARY:Student Grief Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Student Wellness Counselor Sherry Adams will facilitate a weekly\, open\, virtual group in which the vast range of grief responses related to losing a loved one are reviewed\, discussed\, and validated. \nThe ways in which COVID-19 restrictions have affected how we grieve will also be addressed. Students will be provided an opportunity to offer mutual aid to one another as the process of grieving is navigated. There will also be opportunities for bereaved students to memorialize their lost loved ones in our group setting.
