SUMMARY:SRJ Hub Speaker Series: Can we realize global bodily autonomy?
DESCRIPTION:The Sexual & Reproductive Justice Hub at CUNY SPH\, presents the webinar: Can we realize global bodily autonomy?  \nThe United Nations found that 55% of women across 57 countries make their own healthcare decisions. What does this look like and how does this play out? \nJoin us for an engaging discussion on global bodily autonomy with Dr. Sabrina Das in our upcoming SRJ Hub Speaker Series. Dr. Das is a member of the board for Medecins Sans Frontieres (UK) and worked in Yemen in 2021 in a women’s hospital. \nDr. Das will share stories of how bodily autonomy plays out in childbirth and abortion care in low and high income settings\, focusing on the crucial role of healthcare providers. \nThis is a virtual event\, to attend please register via Eventbrite. \nRegistrants will receive a Zoom link prior to the webinar. \n  \n
