DESCRIPTION:Keynote Speaker: \nDr. Mark Kuniholm | Associate Professor\, SUNY University at Albany School of Public Health \n“Chronic Infectious Diseases Across the Life Course” \nDr. Mark H. Kuniholm\, PhD is Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University at Albany School of Public Health\, State University of New York (SUNY). He teaches masters and doctoral courses\, advises MPH MS PhD and DrPH students\, and serves as co-investigator on projects that include people living with HIV/AIDS; w/SUNY Downstate (MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study & Strategic Training Partnership to End AIDS in Georgia) and w/CUNY SPH/Albert Einstein (Central Africa International Epidemiology Databases to Evaluate AIDS). \nStudent Speaker: \nRehana Rasul | PhD Candidate\, CUNY SPH \n“Extreme Food Insecurity and Malnutrition in Haiti: Findings from a Population-Based Cohort in Port-au-Prince\, Haiti” \nRehana is a 2nd year epidemiology doctoral student at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. She works with the CUNY Institute for Implementation Science on cardiovascular disease research in low- and middle- income countries using the Haiti Cardiovascular Disease Cohort. She was previously a biostatistician at Northwell Health where she supported various projects for the occupational medicine and infectious diseases departments. \n
