In Fall 2021, CUNY SPH doctoral students proposed comprehensive and innovative ideas for Reducing the Impact of Systemic Racism on Health in New York City by 2025. Working with Prof. Nick Freudenberg, they produced six policy briefs posted at the Scholars Strategy Network, a national organization that assists scholars to influence policy.
On Wednesday, October 19, the CUNY SPH Antiracist Teaching Collaborative will explore how faculty can use these policy briefs in their teaching, and discuss other approaches to incorporating anti-racism teaching and action in our classrooms.
