SUMMARY:Intro to Music Therapy with Dr. Abrams
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Abrams will provide a brief introduction to and historical context of music therapy as a practice and profession\, video examples of it in action with a range of communities\, and several hands-on\, interactive/live examples of experiences that will provide attendees a sense of what engagement in music therapy might be like. \nThere will be time for Q&A and engaging in conversation. Brian Abrams\, Ph.D.\, MT-BC\, LCAT\, Analytical Music Therapist and Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery\, has been a music therapist since 1995\, with experience across a range of clinical contexts.
