SUMMARY:Internship Discovery Series: NYC Public Engagement Unit
DESCRIPTION:Are you a proactive and enthusiastic communicator with a passion for public service? \nThe NYC Public Engagement Unit (PEU) Communications Team is recruiting two CUNY SPH students for their annual paid internship. \nPEU was created to develop a new model for government outreach\, using community organizing principles to re-envision how NYC provides services to its most vulnerable communities. Rather than expecting constituents to navigate a complex City bureaucracy to get the help they need\, PEU adopts grassroots tactics to meet residents where they are – at their doors and on their phones\, in their social media feeds and in their communities. \nRegister for this info session to learn more about the program and application process\, and hear from past PEU student interns. This internship is based in NYC and requires in-person work. \nOpen to current CUNY SPH students. \n  \n
