Global Health Information Session – Opportunity with Mano a Mano Bolivia

CUNY School of Public Health students and faculty are invited to attend a global health information session on Monday, March 20th, at 8:00pm in Room 717. We will discuss an opportunity to help expand health careaccess in Bolivia with Mano a Mano Bolivia. Mano a Mano Bolivia is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Cochabamba that constructs health centers, schools, and roads. They also offer continuing medical education courses and transport medical volunteers and supplies to remote Bolivian villages. Alyssa worked at Mano a Mano Bolivia in 2015 as a resident epidemiologist, and Rodrigo is a medical doctor from Cochabamba. Bolivian snacks will be served.
