DESCRIPTION:Learn about the state-wide\, 10-month Public Health AmeriCorps Fellowship Members Program with full-time positions at Community Health Centers (CHC) across New York State. Fellowship Members provide direct service tailored to the specific needs of their site and the community they serve\, helping health centers increase capacity and utilization of services. AmeriCorps Fellowship Members receive a Living Allowance of $26\,000 during their term of service\, in addition to other benefits provided by AmeriCorps such as health insurance\, transportation benefits\, and an Education Award at the completion of their term.
