SUMMARY:CUNY SPH Blood Drive
DESCRIPTION:New York City is facing a blood shortage and you can help by donating!  \nCUNY SPH will be hosting a blood drive\, in conjunction with the New York Blood Center\, on Wednesday\, September 16\, from 12pm – 6pm at the CUNY SPH campus (55 W. 125th Street\, Ground Floor). We want to do our part to help save lives in our community. \nDonation appointments are now available and we are inviting our community to schedule your appointment today. Walk-ins are also welcome. Will you join us? \nDonating blood is easy\, safe\, and convenient. It takes only about one hour of your time and each donation can save up to three lives. Your donation can help cancer patients\, accident victims\, people undergoing surgery\, women during childbirth\, people with sickle cell disease and many more. \nAll persons who are in good health\, 17 years or older\, and who weigh at least 110 pounds are potentially eligible to donate.
