DESCRIPTION:\nThe Career Skills Academy is for students who want to become more competitive and succeed professionally. This year-long program will focus on helping you gain and improve upon professional skills using a variety of exciting programs. Learn from top professionals in the industry in our Public Health Master Classes\, which will focus on topics such as effective networking and conflict management. You’ll have the opportunity to attend twice-monthly workshops on developing soft skills such as salary negotiation\, understanding your career values\, and combating imposter syndrome. You can use your time in the program as an opportunity to develop a professional network. And finally\, students who successfully complete the program will receive a $125 stipend each semester! \nThe Career Skills Academy will be hosting a virtual information session to provide students with the opportunity to learn more about the program and ask any questions. \nRSVP to the information session to receive the Zoom link.\n \nPlease email Dr. Candace Lamb at candace.lamb@sph.cuny.edu if you have questions. \n\n
