SUMMARY:Students for Racial Justice Support Group
DESCRIPTION:The Students for Racial Justice Support Group acknowledges the emotional and social challenges of doing anti-racism work while managing the Covid-19 pandemic that disproportionately impacts BIPOC. It recognizes white supremacist terrorism as a threat to public health. The support group encourages self-care strategies as students engage in activism on the ground and/or from their homes. It is an open\, weekly\, virtual support group for CUNY SPH students who promote racial justice. The model is mutual empowerment through sharing experiences and resources in a safe environment. \n
