7th Annual Health Disparities Symposium

This event is a collaboration with the NYU-CUNY Prevention Research Center, based jointly at CUNY SPH and NYU Langone’s Department of Population Health.

NYU Langone’s Section for Health Equity, in collaboration with NYU Langone’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Department of Population Health, Office of Diversity Affairs, and the NYU-CUNY Prevention Research Center, sponsors the annual Health Disparities Symposium. The symposium features a keynote address; a series of short, engaging talks on the work being done to address health disparities and to achieve health equity; a panel discussion on controversies in population health; a listening session on community perspectives of research; and a poster session and awards ceremony.

This year’s event will be held virtually from Tuesday, October 19, 2021, through Friday, October 22, 2021, and will offer continuing medical education (CME) and continuing nursing education (CNE) credits free of charge to all participants.
