Congratulations, Dr. Amanda Nace!

Amanda Nace

On September 9, 2020, Amanda Nace, a student in the Community Health and Health Policy track, successfully defended her dissertation: “HIV viral suppression among HIV positive women of color in the United States.” Her committee was chaired by Dr. Betsy Eastwood, with Drs. Luisa N. Borrell and Glen Johnson serving as committee members.

“I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to study, work, and teach at CUNY SPH,” Dr. Nace says. “Over the past four years CUNY has provided me with research opportunities, mentorship, and the chance to collaborate with public health leaders from around the world. I feel very proud to be part of such a diverse and forward-thinking institution. I know that the friendships and connections I made at CUNY SPH will last a lifetime.”

This Fall, Nace plans to continue teaching at CUNY SPH and consulting on global health projects.
