On April 30, Linda Greenspan, a DPH student in the Health Policy and Management track, successfully defended her dissertation, “Exploring the Main Effects of Patient Activation and Provider Support for Patient Self-Management in Patient Portal Use.”
“The SPH program has offered many opportunities to meet and learn from great minds in the field of Policy and Management,” says Dr. Greenspan. “I am particularly grateful to the members of my committee: Barbara Berney, Elizabeth Kelvin and Shoshanna Sofaer. Each has brought a different perspective and opportunity for growth and I am proud to have them as colleagues.”
After graduating in June, Dr. Greenspan hopes to continue her research and return to teaching.
