Seven Egyptian public health scholars arrived at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy (CUNY SPH) on August 30 for a 2-week training under the Fulbright Junior Faculty Development Program, jointly funded by the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington and CUNY SPH. These scholars, who are all full-time university faculty, will participate in a targeted academic program, mentoring and various cultural experiences during their time at CUNY. The visiting public health scholars are also receiving population health informatics training. The scholars had the opportunity to network with their mentors and other faculty to establish connections with the intention of continuing collaborations in the future.
