Wilfredo Rivera-Scotti, Librarian

Wilfredo Rivera-Scotti, better known as Will, is the Public Health Librarian at GSPHHP. He’s excited to be a part of a new, startup-like academic venture – bringing in tow more than seven years of experience within The City University of New York. Some faculty members might remember him from when he was the IT Academic Technology Coordinator at Hunter’s Silberman Building. Since then he has pursued his passion of teaching the nuances of library research in the academic and public realms, in print and digital formats.

Wilfredo holds four interdisciplinary, humanities degrees (B.A. Film; B.A. Africana and Puerto Rican/Latino Studies; M.L.S. Library Science; M.A. Labor Studies) yielding a [costly] breadth of knowledge.

Utilizing his experience within CUNY, Wilfredo hopes to facilitate the use and understanding of CUNY-wide library resources and those provided by our partnership library at The City College of New York. Take his business card!

In his spare time, Wilfredo is an avid runner and a new dad. He welcomes all parenting advice!
