Attending the CUNY School of Public Health (SPH) will enable you to study public health in NYC, the nation’s largest most diverse city, where the nation’s most serious public health problems often emerge and are solved.

You will learn from our students and faculty who bring the diversity of NYC and the life experience of its global population into the classroom and benefit from our affiliations with more than 100 community organizations, city agencies, nonprofit groups and international organizations.  Our students are taught by an esteemed faculty, who are involved in cutting-edge research, practice and policy initiatives to address some of the most pressing urban health issues of our time, including diabetes, obesity, health literacy and communications, trauma, violence, reproductive and sexual health, workplace and environmental hazards, HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases.
