LIBRARY SERVICES WEBSITE
The SPH Library is all-digital and provides access to electronic resources through a partnership with the City College of New York. You can learn more about the CCNY library here.
As a rule of thumb, you should always begin your research from this page.
HOW TO ACCESS THE LIBRARY ONLINE
The Public Health LibGuide is a comprehensive reference guide that includes information on conducting research, grey literature, access to data, OER and Open Access resources, citation and formatting, Interlibrary Loan and CLICS, electronic dissertation deposit, and other library resources.
OneSearch is a discovery tool that gives you access to online journals, books and digital collections – in a nutshell, it searches everything. There are two logins when using OneSearch: one is with your barcode, which is on the back of your SPH ID and begins with the numbers 27674. Your barcode will also serve as your password.
The second login is when you click on “Full text available” to view an article in OneSearch or when you click on a core database below. Your username is your first initial, last name, last two CUNY EMPLID numbers (i.e. JDoe01). The password is your SPH Domain password (used for SPH WiFi and desktops), which is emailed to all students upon matriculation.
If you do not know your SPH Domain password, you can check your SPH email or contact the SPH Helpdesk (email@example.com) to reset your password.
